During Friday evening's activities, the Sandown Historical Society will be sponsoring the beer tent. All purchases support the Historical Society.
While enjoying all the activities around town, make sure to stop in and visit us at the depot! Our normal hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., but we'll probably be open later!

Stop in at Bre's Ice Creamery at Colby Corner in East Hampstead and 15% of all sales between 6pm-9pm on Friday, November 18 are donated to the Sandown Historical Society! Money raised from this fundraiser will go towards the stabilization and restoration of our Maine Central Railroad train car.

Stop by the depot as we open up for the 2017 season in grand fashion. Food and refreshments will be available as we have lectures on town and railroad history throughout the day. We'll keep you posted on the day's activities once the date gets closer.
Richard Holmes, author of A View from Meeting House Hill, will be giving a talk on Sandown's history.
Sandown members Greg Morrisette and Bob Mitchell, who are also members of the Waushakum Live Steamers, will be showing off their "live steam" scale model steam locomotives at the Sandown depot. The locomotives and the grill will be fired up Saturday, so make sure to stop by and check out the excitement!
